A. I assume ic's the Comp Committee.
Q. And then finally, "October 19th, 2001,
comp.
D0 you see that?
A, I do.
Q. And just as a mechanical matter, what was
your understanding # or what was it in 2001, at
least, what does it mean to approve the minutes of
these meetings that are enumerated here?
A. What does it mean? Well, I assume it means 12:
that the people that were at these meetings think
that they were an accurate representation of what
was discussed at such meeting.
Q. Okay. And was it common or uncommon at
Apple Board of Directors meetings to approve the l2:
minutes of meetings of Apple's board's committees?
A. I don't know. That's a good question. It
was common to approve the minutes of prior board
meetings, but maybe the committees, too; I don't
know.
Q. All right. I'm going to ask you to skip
forward a bit in this book to page 1- excuse me. I
have written it down wrong.
