Over the last several years I've been using many different fonts when designing brand identities and packaging. I like to think of fonts as having their own personality - just like people. Fonts can be brash, silly, elegant, refined, cool, delicate, straightforward, austere, lush or honest. Good use of typography goes a long way, and your choice of fonts will have a significant impact on getting the product/brand's message across appropriately. I've thought about what fonts I've used more than once and why I like them. Out of the countless fonts I've used, here are 15 of my favorites (in no particular order). Enjoy!

This is the 2nd of 5 gallery-style posts in our week-long inspiration series in which we are collecting 100 awesome examples in a given category. Today we are covering infographics, you know those nifty illustrations that make complicated subjects easy to understand. The infographic (short for information graphic) has become a mainstream fixture thanks, in part, to publications such as Wired Magazine whose commissioned infographics are notoriously complicated and cool and widely respected within the design community.  This collection contains great color combinations, infographics of varying sizes, creative typography and of course, extremely clever illustrations.

60 Minimal and Super Clean Web Designs to Inspire You

Today we will create a stunning full page photo wall gallery. The idea is to have a whole page full of thumbs with a nice light effect when we hover. When an image is clicked, a panel slides up from the bottom revealing the full picture. When clicking on the full image, the thumbs panel slide back from the bottom. This effect will give the impression that we are stacking the panels on top of each other every time we change the mode. In the full picture view we add some nice transition effect when we browse through the photos.
