There was a decent chart in the New York Times a week ago showing the performance of Lance Armstrong in the Tour de France – it shows which stages he won every year.

What I’d like to see in this is also how he placed or how far behind the winner he was for each stage, and also how the winners over the last 10 or so years did. The chart as it is is simple enough, and much better than anything the LA Times (which I usually subscribe to) did, however it would be nice to be able to see how Lance did vs. the previous winners.
